Connect for Engineering >>>

With Connect, students will have access to a more personalised experience and can spend their study time more efficiently. This means that for Instructors, when you use Connect for your classes, you have the opportunity to save time and effort on lesson planning. So, with this extra time that you save with using Connect, you can focus on teaching, creating engaging courses, and student outcomes. The advanced features within Connect also simplifies assignment management, allowing you to teach your way.

SmartBook is an adaptive learning tool integrated within Connect that created a personalised learning path based on a student's single strengths and weaknesses. It identifies gaps in knowledge and focuses on areas needing reinforcement, helping students to study smarter, instead of harder.

SmartBook's insightful report features highlight student progress or topic areas that need more work, assisting instructors in shaping their teaching strategies

Designed from the ground up by engineering and physics educators, the Free-Body Diagraming Tool provides students with immediate feedback on their drawing comprehension and gives information on where they need improvement the most.

Process Oriented Problems are designed to help students approach, and understand complex engineering problems. Students practice how to identify the system, recognise the symmetry of the system and calculate physical properties.

Connect provides customisable reports on student performance, learning outcomes and identifys at-risk students. Connect integrates easily with LMS gradebooks.

Connect Insights is a data analytics tool with a series of visual data displays each framed by an intuitive question. It provides 'at-a-glance' information on how your students are doing, and the class as a whole. With the five key insights, Connect Insights allows you to make a positive impact on your course, knowing who the at-risk students are and intervening when necessary.

The Real Deal! Our Cadaver Simulaion Tool

Anatomy & Physiology Revealed (APR) is an interactive human cadaver tool. With APR, in addition to the human cadaver, students will also have access to a fetal pig, or cat dissection tool to enhance lectures and labs. We have increased the access to APR, meaning that students can use it anytime, anywhere.

Instructors can customise APR by choosing the specific content required in their course through a simple menu selection process. In the course-specific area of the programs, students see only the instructor’s designated content, and only this content will appear in quiz questions.

APR contains all the systems covered in A&P and Human Anatomy courses, including:

  • Body Orientation
  • Cells and Chemistry
  • Tissues

What is new in APR 4.0?

  • We have Improved Accessibility
  • Updated User-Friendly Interface
  • More Mobile-Friendly
  • New! 3D Interactive Models
